As a naturally creative person, I am passionate about creating food that strikes up a symphony of delicious flavors in your mouth, creating memorable meals, and culinary experiences. I enjoy cooking with big, bold flavors, using a wide variety of spices and seasonings to make those taste buds sing! It's a round trip ticket to Flavor Town!
I love to educate myself as much as possible, through classes, books, experimentation, internet and TV. Over the years, I have had many opportunities to enhance my knowledge and skills through various cooking classes, seminars, trainings, Diploma and Certificate Programs. It is so exciting when I can share my knowledge and skills when cooking for my clients!
Through my wonderful parents and life experiences, I have learned that you should have fun, and enjoy yourself when cooking; creativity and love are two essential, and magical ingredients; food is nourishing not only to the body, but the mind and spirit as well; and, when prepared properly, food can evoke strong memories and feelings... much like the first bite of ratatouille did to the imperious and acerbic food critic, Ego, in the movie, "Ratatouille"!
To me, food is not just eating, it is an experience. Food brings people together, is a common language spoken by all, and can make friends out of strangers. Because, after all, the secret ingredient is always love.
